Razer , the leading global lifestyle brand for gamers, recently announced that it will be the official esports partner of the 2019 Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games 2019), an eleven-country international sporting event where esports will be recognized as a medal sport for the first time in history. The region-wide tournament to be hosted by the Philippines in November 2019 marks the first time in history that esports is recognized as a medal sport in a major event.
