Poco recently announced the launch date of its upcoming M-series smartphone. The Poco M4 Pro 5G is all set to debut on November 9 in the global market. 

The online launch event of the upcoming Poco M4 Pro 5G will be live-streamed via Poco's official YouTube channel and other social media handles such as Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook. 

The brand did not give any information on the design or specifications of the Poco M4 Pro 5G, but some online tech experts said it will be powered by the MT6833P, which is said to be the MediaTek Dimensity 810 or Dimensity 700 chipset. It might also feature an Android 11 operating system, 8GB RAM, with 33W fast charging support. 

Further, the upcoming M4 Pro 5G is said to be rebranded version of the Redmi Note 11, hinting that the two may be very similar. The pricing and availability of the device are also unknown at this moment. However, the M4 Pro 5G is also expected to carry an affordable price tag like its predecessor.

Huawei Digital Power has concluded its Global Digital Power Summit 2021 in Dubai, UAE, with more than 500 participants from 67 countries attending, on October 16. At the summit, Huawei Digital Power signed a key contract with SEPCOIII for the Red Sea Project with 400 MW PV plus 1300 MWh battery energy storage solution (BESS), which is currently the world’s largest energy storage project. The two parties will cooperate to help Saudi Arabia build a global clean energy and green economy center.

This 1300 MWh off-grid energy storage project is the largest of its kind in the world and represents a milestone in the global energy storage industry.

GSMA today announced at Mobile 360 Asia Pacific the formation of the Asia Pacific (APAC) 5G Industry Community; a new ecosystem established for those seeking opportunities to deliver Industry 4.0 and digital transformation from 5G networks, edge-cloud services, enterprise IoT and AI. The Community has been designed for stakeholders across the value chain including government and agencies, industry associations, mobile network providers, enterprises and industry players, solution providers, analysts, and consultants. 

The APAC 5G Industry Community is comprised of 12 Contributing members, as well as the existing IoT and 5G emerging market community, which have over 500 members in more than 30 countries. The three scholars are Patrick Lawrence Simpao, Christian Justin Yu and Christian Michael Tan, all 4th year students of DLSU taking-up BS Information Technology and BS Electronics & Communication Engineering.
