The Galaxy Watch5 Series from Samsung just got better for Filipino users. With its latest update, the smartwatch now includes advanced health monitoring features, allowing users to keep track of their blood pressure and heart rate in a convenient and accurate way.
The Samsung BioActive sensor is the key technology behind the new BP and ECG monitoring features. To use the BP monitoring feature, users need to install the Samsung Health Monitor application on their Galaxy smartphone, and then connect it to their Galaxy Watch5 or Watch5 Pro. They will then be able to calibrate the cuff and measure their blood pressure anytime and anywhere.
Meanwhile, the ECG function works by recording the heart’s electrical activity through a sensor on the watch. Users can access these features via the Samsung Health Monitor app, and easily export the data to PDF.
Aside from these health monitoring features, the Galaxy Watch5 Series also boasts improved sleep tracking technology. It can detect snoring, track sleep stages, and provide nightly sleep reports. For fitness tracking, the watch can count steps, calories, and supports over 90 exercises that can be tracked from the watch. The Watch5 Pro even includes GPS route tracking and turn-by-turn directions for outdoor enthusiasts.
The Galaxy Watch5 Series is also built to last. The Galaxy Watch5 has a 15% bigger battery that charges 20% faster than previous models. The Watch5 Pro has the largest battery capacity in Samsung’s wearable series, lasting up to 24 hours with continuous GPS use and 80 hours on standby. Both models are water-resistant and built with premium Sapphire crystal and a titanium body case.
The Galaxy Watch5 Series comes in a range of colors and styles to suit different tastes. The 40mm model is available in Composite Gray, Iconic Gold, and Silver, with straps in Gray, Pink Gold, and Lavender. The 44mm model comes in Composite Gray, Navy Blue, and Silver, with straps in Gray, New Blue, and White. The Watch5 Pro is available in Black Titanium and Gray Titanium. Users can also choose from a variety of watch faces to express their personal style.
The Galaxy Watch5 40mm is available starting at PHP 16,990, while the Galaxy Watch5 Pro retails for PHP 26,990. Samsung is offering a 30% discount on these watches with every purchase of the latest Galaxy S23 Series.
